CNN Video and Report on Russian Meteor Strike
As the earth awaits the near miss of a massive asteroid, nature gave a small sample of what might happen if it did hit. Friday morning Feb. 15, 2013 a meteor streaked across the skies of north central Russia casting a blinding light, shattering windows with its sonic impact and even tumbling a building wall. There are reports of more than a thousand people injured by the concussion and its resulting impact.
