Website Design Contest Winners and Mentors
Sixteen high school girls took home $2,775 in combined prizes in the Michigan Council of Women in Technology Foundation’s 11th annual girls’ website design competition. Winners were identified on Dec. 3 during “finals day” at Blue Care Network’s auditorium in Southfield, the culmination of a three-month-long program.
Patty Howard and Yashmyn Jackson are two of the member volunteers who have been very instrumental in designing the 2016 web design contest. They join us in studio along with some of the girls who won awards: Xiaolu (LuLu) Huang (Honorable Mention), Cecilia DuPont (First Place Beginners), Natalie Stepanenko (Grand Prize, Advanced).
