I get a pop up saying my system restore is not turned on. but when I try to turn it on all the buttons are grayed out so I can not turn it on. I called Hp put all they asked why did I want it turned on.They said just back up my data and everything will alright. Is there any other way to turn it on.

If you would post with more info…what OS are you

using.? XP, Vista, Win7, etc. someone can give you specific details.

HP is full of beans about not using System Restore. I have used it

numerous times over the years. Backing up your data is always good but

System Restore also has it's uses.
