I have a NetGear N600 Dual band Router

I am trying to setup a guest network but everytime I enter a router password and press "APPLY" the password disappears. I can see the Guest Network on my available networks list but tells me the password is not accepted.

 

I have ENABLE SSID NETWORK checked, and have named my network.

Under SECURITY OPTIONS-PROFILE I have selected  WEP (this is because my laptop will not recognize WPA2-PSK [AES].

 

Security Encryption is set to AUTOMATIC

 

I then enter my password and click on apply and the password disappearsConfused (on my main network settings the password stays.

 

Any suggestions???????
