Yesterday I heard advice not to update to IE8. Too late for me since I did it last year in June. Since then I am getting message at startup

"DRIVE CURE" : " It apear to be an error with your instalation, please reinstall your application"

Computer is considerably slower since then and I was not able to find any solution to fix it.

Is it any fix for that or possible to uninstall IE8 and go back to IE7? Add/remove the program does't give me that option. Thank you, jaro

Bear in mind, however, that the error message you're getting makes me suspicious that you have a problem with your computer that runs deeper than a bad install of IE8.

"DRIVE CURE" : " It apear to be an error with your instalation, please reinstall your application" doesn't appear to be a standard Windows message.  

"DriveCure" is a semi-legit program of dubious quality and utility.  I'd start my search there before moving forward with a rollback to IE7.

If I remember correctly, you just go into the control panel, add/remove and delete IE8. Once that is done you have to restart and go to the Windows update site and select to install IE7.
