I have discovered I have a trojan.  Two according to my last scan of McAfee.  Got alot of run around with McAfee, trying to sell me a fix for $130.  Is this normal?  I did get to a tech and he suggested I use "stinger.mcafee.com" to remove.  I did and this AM another scan this AM showed 2 trojans.  Does this mean they're still there?

You could try this free program. It is highly recommended for

removing viruses, spyway, malware.

Download and install…then run it a couple times and see if this doesn't remove

your bugs.

The trying to sell you a fix is a scamm.  It may not even be McAfee, but a look a like that is trying to scamm you for money.

Yes you most likely still have a problem.

John's suggestion of malwarebytes is a reasonable choice to start with.  If that does not fix it go to IA and look in Ed's tool box for other helpful removal tools.

Try Superantispyware (www.superantispyware.com).  It cleans out tracking cookies, also.
