I have an HP mini netbook.  I use to keep the charger on all the time.  This would cause static to build up in the computer, and HP told me how to discharge it and get it started.  This is very inconvient.  I like to use the netbook periodocally and the place I go that has wifi doesn't want you to plug into receptacle. 

 

How can I keep it charged so that it doesn't build up static, yet is avaiable to use when I need it to go mobile and have a full charge when I do so?
