Shane Hamelin is not only a great computer tech, but also a dedicated gamer.  Gamers have the reputation of being weird people who stay up all night playing video games in their mom’s basement.  Shane has a whole new perspective.

Zach Wigal, founder of  Gamers Outreach will join us in studio. Gamers Outreach Foundation is a video-game industry charity organization that works to use interactive entertainment in ways that improve the lives of others. Simply put, they use video games to help people out!

Trackmania Nations Forever (PC)

It is the most popular online PC racing game. It fuels 7 different racing environments; hundreds of thousands of tracks and millions of players to compete with. You can download the car you are dreaming of, paint it, drive it through insane tracks made of loopings, ramps and off roads. It is all about you, your driving skills and the track in front of you.

League of Legends (PC)

League of Legends (LoL) is a multiplayer online battle arena video game. Players are formed into 2 even teams of Champions, 3v3 or 5v5. As of 24 July 2012 there are 101 different champions from which to choose. Each player begins at opposing sides of a map in an area called the Spawning Pool, near what is called a Nexus. A match is won when either team’s nexus is destroyed.
